Man with a Failure to Appear in Court and 2 Assault on a child under 12 given UNSECURED BONDS.

Public Safety???

Magistrate Francis “Frank” Beer does not care that someone has already proved that they will fail to appear in court……… So Mr. Herrington has an outstanding order for his arrest for FTA (failure to appear) out of Cabarrus County and now he has been charged for TWO counts of Domestic Violence and TWO assault on a child under 12 charges.

Magistrate Beer gives this man UNSECURED BONDS for the TWO Assault on a child under 12 charges.

* FELONY ASSAULT BY STRANGULATION

* MISDEMEANOR ASSAULT ON A FEMALE

MISDEMEANOR ASSAULT ON A CHILD UNDER 12

MISDEMEANOR ASSAULT ON A CHILD UNDER 12

FAILURE TO APPEAR IN COURT IN CABARRUS COUNTY FOR DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED

* NO BOND YET: These two charges fall under NCGS 15A-534.1. Crimes of domestic violence; bail and pretrial release. And only a Judge can set bond within 48 hours.

But the Magistrate has already shown that he does not care about someone failing to appear in court that hurts children under 12 years old by giving UNSECURED BONDS.

UNSECURED BONDS IS NOTHING BUT A WRITTEN PROMISE TO APPEAR WITHOUT ANYBODY HELD RESPONSIBLE.
